Ingredients Keto Crisp Sandwich

4 slices of Keto-friendly bread (such as almond flour bread or cloud bread)

4 slices of cheese (cheddar, Swiss, or your choice)

8 slices of cooked bacon

1 avocado, sliced

2 tablespoons butter or mayonnaise

Optional: lettuce, tomato slices, or any preferred sandwich toppings

Prepare the Bacon: Cook the bacon in a skillet until crispy. Set aside on a paper towel to drain excess grease.

Toast the Bread: Toast the slices of Keto-friendly bread using a toaster or in a skillet over medium heat until they’re lightly golden brown.

Assemble the Sandwich: Spread butter or mayonnaise on one side of each slice of toasted bread. On the unbuttered side of two slices, layer a slice of cheese, followed by avocado slices, cooked bacon, and any additional toppings you prefer. Top with the remaining cheese slices and the other slices of bread, buttered side facing down.

Grill or Heat: Heat a skillet over medium-low heat. Carefully place the assembled sandwiches into the skillet. Grill for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until the cheese is melted and the bread is golden brown and crispy.

Serve: Once the sandwiches are cooked to your liking, remove them from the skillet. Let them cool for a minute or two before slicing them in half. Serve warm and enjoy!
